Designed in Fall 2023 as part of the Texas Tech Submission to DBIA 2023 national Competition; Located on the Campus of Kalamazoo University in Michigan. Submitted with Texas Tech Enginnering College and team.
This design-build proposal for the Kalamazoo Campus expansion honors its historic architecture while integrating modern materials and innovative solutions. The multi-story recreation center enhances student life with new facilities, improved accessibility, and dynamic gathering spaces. Competing on a national stage, the Texas Tech team submitted a comprehensive plan addressing scheduling, cost, and safety, ensuring an efficient and impactful design.
